When you become an Institutional Member of LACCEI, renew your
membership, or update your information we store data needed to maintain
your membership. This personally identifiable information is used to
email or air mail membership benefits such as the LACCEI Newletter, the
LACCEI Latin American and Caribbean Journal of Engineering and
Education, LACCEI related information and information regarding
engineering education to you. The Institutional Members with the
name of their Liaison are listed in the LACCEI Institutional Members
web page. The institutional members mailing lists is not sold to
third parties. Payments for Institutional Membership are
non-refundable.
When you submit an abstract, paper or poster, we store information
required to process for publication, your abstract (and later your
extended, completed paper or poster) and contact you with information
regarding the conference or the processing of your submission. LACCEI
has signed collaboration agreements with other engineering education
societies that host engineering education conferences. The strategic
partners review each others proceedings and invite selected author to
submit for re-publication and presentation of the paper with permission
of LACCEI. You may also receive occasional information on these
conference invited paper publication opportunities.
When you register to attend a conference we store information required to process your registration. A list of conference registrants is published . Conference registration includes a complimentary Individual Membership to LACCEI. No other third party is allowed access to this personally identifiable information. Payments for conference are non-refundable.
When you apply for a LACCEI fellowship or scholarship, we store data required to process your application. This personally identifiable information is used only by LACCEI staff and the sponsoring institution for selecting the awardees. No other third party is allowed access to this information.
When you provide a nomination or reference, personally identifiable information is stored that is used only for the awards process. No third parties are allowed access to this information.
Purchasing classified advertising results in storing personally identifiable information that is used only for processing your ad. No third parties are allowed access to this information.
