Prerequisite: Senior standing, B.I.E.T. majors
Catalog Description: Working in groups, students undertake
a complete project from specification through implementation and
deployment.
Course Objectives
On completion of the
course, students will have demonstrated the following knowledge or
skills.
- The ability to carry out a complete IET project applying
skills developed in the program
- The ability to work on a team
- The ability to do oral effective presentations .
- The ability to write technical reports and documents
Class Syllabus
This is a project oriented course. The project schedule will be
developed over the course of the term with completion by the end
of the term.
Assignments will be posted in Blackboard
Grading & Attendance Policy
The grade will be based on student work on the project and as
a team member. The major portion of the grade will be based on
process documents and reports with the operation of the completed
project accounting for a smaller portion of the final grade.
