Armando Escalante is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for LexisNexis Risk Management division in Boca Raton, Florida.
LexisNexis is a leading provider of information services in the legal, corporate and government industries. In this position,
Mr. Escalante is responsible for technology development, information systems and operations.
Mr. Escalante joined the Boca Raton-based company, Seisint, in December 2001 as Chief Operating Officer (COO), which was
purchased by LexisNexis in 2004. Prior to his experience there, he had more than 20 years in the high-tech industry, most
recently from Diveo Broadband Networks, where he served as Vice President of Engineering and Operations for 8 world class Data Centers
located in the US and Latin America. Prior to Diveo, Mr. Escalante served as Vice President for one of the fastest growing divisions of
Vignette Corporation, an eBusiness software leader.
He also worked for Ashton-Tate, a software maker (dBase), for EPSON America in International assignments in Europe and the
Far East and spent over 5 years with Unisys Corporation, in domestic and International (Latin America) positions.
Mr. Escalante holds a BS in Electronic Engineering from USB in Caracas, Venezuela; a Master's degree in Computer Science from
Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey; and an M.B.A. from West Coast University in Orange, California. He is
currently in the PhD. DISS program at NOVA South Eastern University in Ft. Lauderdale.
