Sponsored by: IEEE, Air Force, and NSF

Technical demonstrations showing innovative and original research are solicited. In general this conference is interested in demonstrations of technology that validate important research issues or showcase realistic applications in mobile ad-hoc systems and sensor networks. Specific topics of interest include (but are not limited to) the following:
  • Network protocols for mobile ad-hoc/sensor networks
  • Operating system and middleware for mobile ad-hoc/sensor networks
  • Network testbed measurements and benchmarks
  • Distributed algorithms for energy/topology management, in mobile ad-hoc/sensor networks
  • Localization in time and space
  • Novel hardware and software platforms
  • Simulation and optimization tools
  • Security and robustness in mobile ad-hoc/sensor networks
  • Programming and validation methodology
  • Application of mobile ad-hoc/sensor networks in health care
  • Social and business impacts of mobile ad-hoc/sensor networks
  • Novel network architectures
All the demos that are selected will be included in the conference proceedings in the form of 4-page short papers. Please consult the technical co-chair, Jennifer Hou, at jhou@cs.uiuc.edu, if you are uncertain whether your demo falls within the scope of the conference.
