Formatting Instructions for the Camera-ready Manuscript

Authors should prepare a PDF file following the IEEE single-space, two-column format using at least 11 point size type. The paper must be correctly formatted to fit on U.S. "letter" size page (8.5" by 11") with at least 1" margins on all edges. Full-length papers must not exceed 10 pages. For each additional page (maximumm 2) there is a $150 charge.

The IEEE LaTeX and Microsoft Word templates, as well as related information can be found here. (Note that the IEEE template uses a 10pt font by default. The authors should change that to 11pt to meet the submission requirement.)

The PDF file should be prepared according to the IEEE PFD specification.

Camera-ready Manuscript Formatting Instructions for SHORT PAPERS

Please follow the final paper formatting instruction for the regular conference papers, but limit the paper to 4 pages. Papers longer than 4 pages will not be accommodated.

Camera-ready Manuscript Formatting Instructions for POSTERS

The conference will provide a Poster Easel/Board (4 feet by 8 feet). Authors can arrange posters as A4/letter size copies of PPT slides, two 2'x4' posters, etc.

Submission Guidelines for Conference Papers

Authors must submit the camera-ready manuscript through EDAS. The deadline for submission is 08/10/2006.

Submission Guidelines for Workshop Papers

The paper must be formatted and submitted according to the instructions on the workshop's web site. Please make sure your PDF file complies with the IEEE PFD specification. Mention the workshop abbreviation in the subject line.

IEEE Copyright Form

The IEEE Copyright form must be submitted for each paper using the IEEE Electronic Copyright process. The copyright process begins by submitting paper and author information using the copyright web form on our web site. This form will then take you to an IEEE online wizard that formats the copyright PDF file and inserts your electronic signature. You will be able to download a copy of the form for your reference. You will also receive a confirmation email from IEEE.

Other Message

Authors should log in at PDFexpress and create the PDF file from there. Authors must create an account with the conference id: mass06. Only PDF files created with IEEE PDFexpress are guaranteed to be accepted in the IEEE MASS'06 proceedings and the Xplore library.
