Short bio:
Professor of the department of Computer Science and Engineering, Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida. His research interests are in software engineering, software complexity metrics and measurements, software testing software reliability and quality engineering, neural networks applications, computer systems performance evaluation, multimedia systems and statistical modeling. He has also published more than 100 refereed papers in these areas. An internationally known authority on software measurement, software reliability and quality engineering. He often is invited to serve on program committees, to referee papers, and to speak at symposia. For the years 1992 and 1994 he served as the Program Co-Chairman for the IEEE International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering. He was Program Chairman of the 1995 Software Engineering Research Forum. He was a Guest Editor of the IEEE Computer -- special issue on the Metrics in Software, September 1994. He is the North American editor of the Software Quality Journal. Also, he is on the editorial board of the Journal of Multimedia Tools and Applications.
