You can apply the latest tools and analysis techniques to soft-
ware quality, software reliability, software metrics, and software
testing. You can also develop related software tools. You will
use high performance Sun workstations and associated software
tools in the new Empirical Software Engineering Laboratory.

Financial support?

Part-time work as a Research Assistant and Tuition Waivers may
be available, contingent on grants from industry.

Student may be required to:

-- Meet with professors in weekly seminar meeting
and present research findings.
-- Learn mainly from papers and other documents,
rather than lectures and texts.

-- Conduct case studies applying analysis techniques
and software tools to industry problems.

-- Acquire via internet or devlop related software.

-- Write techical reports.
