The Workshop on Wireless Multimedia will be held in conjunction with the IEEE Sixth International Symposium on Multimedia Software Engineering (IEEE MSE2004, 12/13/04 - 12/15/04) at Florida International University, Miami, FL. MSE2004 is an international forum for researchers and practitioners in multimedia and software engineering to exchange information regarding the advancements in the state of the art and practice of multimedia software engineering, as well as to identify the emerging research topics and define the future of multimedia.

The Workshop on Wireless Multimedia will be held on December 14, 2004, and will focus on the recent developments and research challenges in the area of wireless multimedia.

Publication IEEE Computer Society Press will publish accepted papers in the conference proceedings. All workshop papers will also be published in the conference proceedings. In addition, authors of a selection of papers from the conference will be invited to revise and re-submit extended versions of their papers for a special issue of the Journal of Multimedia Tools and Applications (Kluwer).
