Welcome

My photo Oge Marques is a Brazilian professor and engineer. After obtaining his two Bachelor's degrees in Brazil, he spent 17 months in the Netherlands where he completed his Master's degree program sponsored by Philips. He got his PhD in Computer Engineering from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2001 and has been working as a professor in the same department since then. In 2007 he was tenured and promoted to Associate Professor. Before coming to FAU, he taught at CEFET-PR (now UTFPR), FESP, and PUC-PR in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.

He's been teaching for 25 years (and looks forward to the next 25). He prefers English football to American football, Jamba Juice smoothies to Dr. Pepper, winter in Austria to summer in Florida, Macs to PCs, sedans to SUVs, Sudoku puzzles to faculty meetings.
